Cancellation Policy
If
you contact
us prior
to shipment, your credit card payment can usually be reversed with no restocking
fee or penalties with the exception of special orders. We will not charge a fee
on canceled orders that have not been processed. All orders are normally
processed within 48 hours. A restocking fee of 25% may apply after this time
frame.
If
your order is already in transit, as with a return, the customer will be
responsible for actual freight both ways in addition to the 25% restocking
fee.
The same
day when you placed the order, we start our processing. As most of our
furniture is not readily stocked in our warehouse, at the very
beginning of our process, Daz Furniture and its customer become
financially obligated to purchase and pay for the ordered furniture. Daz
Furniture tries to remain the most flexible furniture store and will attempt to
help you in cancellation of your order. We will contact our vendor and make
all the necessary arrangements. Unfortunately sometimes we are not able to
cancel your order which has been already prepared for shipment or actually
shipped by our vendor. The tracking number may not be available when our vendor
ships the products. There is a administration process delay. After
we contact our vendor, we can decide if we can cancel your
order. Once you place the order, assume you have read and abide by our
policy regarding the cancellation.
Delivery Damages
Daz
Furniture only contracts professional delivery and trucking companies to deliver
the orders. While damages can happen, although rarely, we request
our customers to carefully inspect the package and it's contents at the
time of delivery and note all damages on the delivery receipt on which the
driver asks you to sign. You are required to take pictures of the damages,
e-mail the pictures of damages to service@dazfurniture.com within 2
business days of delivery. If the damages are not promptly and fully noted on
the delivery receipt, we might not be able to assist you with claims. We
reserve the right to repair furniture in customer's home or accept return for
repair and/or replacement. We can only issue full refund when we
cannot repair or replace the item. We also expect our customers to accept
delivery appointment for any repairs or replacement furniture to complete the
order process.
Return
Policy
If you are not satisfied with our products, we will be more than happy to assist you with return or exchange within 10 days of your receiving the products. Please note that all returned products must be in original condition (not used and not installed, with all original packaging material included). The customer is responsible for the repacking of the products for a return or a replacement. Please also note that a lot of items are considered by the vendors as special orders, and certain products are non returnable. The following items are not returnable:
- Items "sell as is" and clearance items in our showroom.
- Assembled
and/or Modified items and without original packaging.
- Mattresses
out of the factory authorized trial period.
- Custom
order or special order items, such as specific leather or fabric
orders.
- Opened
bedding materials.
If
your item is damaged or defective, please notify us within 24 hours of your
receiving the furniture. In order to help us resolve the issues, you are
required to e-mail pictures of the damages and the damage description to us. We
will do our best to repair or replace the damaged item free of charge.
If we cannot repair or replace the item, we will issue a full refund
or store credit to you. If the product is defective, we will help you remedy the
issue with the supplier. It may take longer time to get the part or
replacement pieces as most of the suppliers cannot mail anything directly
to the customers. Therefore they will deliver to our store first and as
soon as we receive the parts or replacement, we will ship to
you.
Daz
Furniture has been working with our vendors to obtain the highest possible
quality pictures of the products which reflect the real item as
closely as possible. However, every computer is different and everyone's
perception of color is different, and the color on the furniture picture can be
different due to the light of the shooting environment. The pictures are
presentation of the style and the approximation of the color of the furniture.
Natural imperfection and variations of the wood and leather can
occur. We cannot accept these natural variations or imperfection of
the material as defective. We will inspect the products before we
accept the returns.
If you cannot accept the replacement and decide to return the product, you are responsible for the
shipping charges for the outgoing and incoming shipments in addition to 25% restocking
fee once the item has been shipped. Please call us for the shipping fees before you
get the return authorization.
Privacy
Policy
When
you place an order or ask to be on our mailing list, your name, address, phone
number and email address will be needed for the process of the order. Your
credit card information will be also required when you place an order.
Please also note that in the process of your order, we share your contact
information only with delivery companies. We maintain an in-house record of your
purchases, but not the credit card information. We do not store complete credit
card information on our web server. The credit card information will be
available for 4 weeks and we will not access your credit card info after
that.
To
the extent permitted by law, neither Daz Furniture nor any of its employees,
related partners or their respective officers will be liable in any way for any
loss, damage, cost or expense suffered or incurred by you or claims made by you
because of your use of this site, unavailability of this site or in connection
with any products, services or information advertised, offered or supplied
through this site. Daz Furniture maintains the exclusive right to cancel or
refuse any order without limitation including: price omission, incorrect price,
typographical errors, suspicion of fraud, and delivery area
restrictions.
Limited
Warranty
Daz
Furniture warrants to the original purchaser that all merchandise sold shall be
free from manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship under conditions of
normal residential usage for a period of one year from date of delivery to
you.
Daz
Furniture at its sole discretion will either repair the defective piece in the
home, the repair shop, or return the product to the store for repair or
replacement. No repairs, exchanges, or returns will be authorized without an
inspection or digital pictures emailed to us.
Limited
Warranties are non-transferable. Daz Furniture will pay, within one year from
the date of purchase, reasonable labor rates to repair or replace the defective
parts at no charge to the original retail purchaser. All packing, shipping,
transportation costs from the customer to and from Daz Furniture (or any local
service center) will be the original retail purchaser's responsibility. After
one year from the date of purchase, the warranty covers replacement parts only
if the manufacturer has longer than one year warranty, and the original
purchaser will be responsible for repair labor costs.
Warranty
Exclusions:
Not
by limitations, the limited warranty does not apply to the
following:
- Wear
of upholstery or leather fabrics.
- Fading
from exposure to sunlight on fabric, leather, or wood
- Merchandise
used commercially.
- Seat
cushions and pillows that soften and wrinkle from normal use.
- Natural
variations in wood color, grains, wood knots, or distress marks.
- Natural
color variations in marble, granite, or slate tops.
- Damage
resulting from improper care, accident, negligence, or abuse.
- Floor
samples, c
learance
items
, and items sold "as
is".
- Pilling,
shrinking, tearing or wrinkling of the fabric.
- Water
damages of the wood table top.
- Damage
from incorrect cleaning agents
- Mattresses
with sinking of 2 inches or less.
- Furniture
moved from the original delivery address or not with the original
purchaser.
Daz
Furniture will do its best to assist you in solving any warranty issues
covered by the manufacturer or extended protection plan. The following Limited
Warranties are typical examples given to the original purchaser. Every
manufacturer has its own specific warranty terms. Please consult Daz Furniture
Customer Service for more specific detail information.
Frames

Year Limited Warranty
A
5
Year Limited Warranty applies to all frames used in sofas, loveseats,
living room chairs, ottomans, and sectionals. Daz Furniture warrants these
components to you, to be free from material manufacturing defects. Some brands
have lifetime limited warranty.
Springs

Year Limited Warranty
The metal spring systems are sinuous, wire seat
springs, and, where applicable, back springs, and are secured by heavy gauge tie
wires clipped at all intersections. Some models are built with individual
pocketed coils.
Recliner
Mechanism

Year Limited Warranty
Daz Furniture warrants to you all mechanisms used in
recliners for 5 years from the date of purchase, to be free from material
manufacturing defects. Some manufacturer has shorter or longer warranty
period.
Sleeper
Mechanism

Daz Furniture warrants to you all mechanisms used in
sleepers for one year from the date of purchase, to be free from material
manufacturing defects.
Cushioning

Year Limited Warranty
All seat cushion cores will soften with normal use and
will conform to the shape of the customer. This shall be considered normal wear,
and shall not be considered a loss of resiliency or a material manufacturing
defect.
Leather

Year Limited Warranty
Daz Furniture warrants to you for a period of one year
from the date of purchase, all leather to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship, seam slippage, cracking, and dye transfers. Leather is a natural
product, and, as such, each hide will reflect its own individuality. Some
variations of shade and tone are to be expected as are the nicks, scratches, and
wrinkles that only occur in genuine leather; these characteristics are in no way
to be considered a defect.
Fabric

Year Limited Warranty
Daz Furniture warrants to you for a period of one year
from the date of purchase, all upholstered fabrics against seam slippage
and fraying. This warranty does not cover tears, flattening of nap,
pilling, fading, or shrinking.
Finishes

Year Limited Warranty
All finishes and other parts, including dining tables,
chairs, occasional tables, beds, dressers, office desks, curio, china
cabinets, hutch/buffets, and entertainment centers are warranted by Daz Furniture to
you for one year from the date of purchase, to be free from material
manufacturing defects.
All Products
These
Limited Warranties provide coverage to the original retail purchaser and do not
apply to rented, business, commercial, institutional, or other non-residential
uses. All warranties cover only normal residential usage. No warranty
applies to damages resulting from misuse, abuse, your own moving. Warranty
is void if furniture has been moved from original delivery
address.
Any
item repaired or replaced under these Limited Warranties will be covered by the
Limited Warranties for the remainder of the original warranty period
only.
Claim
Procedure
Should any warranty issues occur, please contact the Daz Furniture
Customer Service. The original sales receipt and the item number are required
for the remedy of the warranty issue. Please make sure any claim for warranty
service is accompanied by the necessary information to satisfy the warranty
requirements. If the issue can be easily repaired, Daz Furniture will authorize
to make those repairs. Daz Furniture reserves the right to require defective
parts be returned to our store or any nearest service center upon
request.
Daz Furniture is not responsible for scheduling or the cost of
transporting your furniture from your home to the store or any nearby service
center or from the store to your home. You must make those arrangements
with the store. If you have moved and you need service, contact Daz Furniture in
writing.
Disclaimer
Daz
furniture offers extended warranties, including but not limited to fabric
protection plan through a third-party. Daz furniture shall not be liable under
any additional warranties offered by any third-party.
In
no event shall Daz Furniture be responsible for consequential or incidental
damages, such as loss of use, inconvenience, loss or damage to personal
property, whether indirect or direct, and whether arising in contract or tort.
In no event shall Daz Furniture's responsibility exceeds the purchase price of
the product or its replacement.
